VETERAN'S FACTS

1. A veteran is a person who was in the military(came back or didn't), the word veteran means "a person of long experiences."

2. The war that led to the creation of veteran's day was called WWI also known as World War I. Witch took place on the 11th hour on the 11th month(November) 11:00 a.m. 1918. But it was not called veteran's day, president Woodrow Wilson called it Armistice Day.

3. The war armistice means truce.

4. The armistice was signed 11.00 AM. November 11th on the 11th of November.

5. president Woodrow Wilson made armistice day a national holiday!

6. The tomb of the unknown soldier was in Arlington cemetery with a ceremony on Nov.11.

7. The person who changed armistice day to veteran's day was called Dwight Eisenhower

8. The difference between veteran's day and memorial day is memorial day is for honoring our lost hero's in battle, veteran's day is when people that served in the military are honored

KIRBY 101!

Kirby stuff, First heres a website if you dont know about kirby. (kirby stuff) Well... I guess ill add the random kirby pictures cuz i like kirby. (you know that right?) Oh! i got a kirby game for ya.

math! is there anxiety in math?

Most people do not have anxiety for math...go figure... The reason why people don't like math is because there's numbers and mathematical problems. Another reason people dislike math is because most people stress over timed tests. To make people enjoy math is to have fun like play activities, games, less homework. Also to make them feel confident. Explain things very well.

Importance of graduating high school!

Theres alot important things after you graduate! Like jobs,and um Doing alot of other stuff.High school graduation. Sadly if you want to get a job you need a high education or training. 60% OF JOBS REQUIRE SOME type of training. The higher education you have the more money you will make! But if you have a health condition or have a criminal past you wont make alot of money. I got nothing else to tell you just go to the website if you got any questions.

Today its science!

The science topic for today is the endangered Tasmanian devil in Australia. When you think of this little critter you think of loony toons! But this critter is endangered. He is endangered because Extinction of the species is a chance within the next two decades. That's one less animal we have. Next thing ya know polar bears are extinct. Today is election day!

We are voting yes or no...

Were voting on a new high school! Cool huh? Last time we voted we were 2 votes away from getting a new high school that sucked. Well were trying again this year don't forget to vote! Were voting in the multipurpose room you wouldn't believe how crowded it is.Even though there's so many people I still think were not going get the new high school. but seriously please vote YES or else we will get year round school!!! That would suck!!! don't to mention the tax increase!!!! This is insanity,madness. I think i just lost my mind. Any way Vote YES or no is you want to, Its not my choice. Its time for, The Kirby dance!!!!
